Brockport: Saturday March 6, 2010 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by his parents James and Cora McBride and 5 siblings. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Agnes J. McBride; his children, David (Kathy) DePappe, Barton (Sue) Peters, William (Matilda) Peters, Linda (Al) Beebe, Mark Faulise, John (Laurie) McBride, Deborah McBride-Aponte and Robert McBride; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; his brother, Albert (Ann) McBride of Brockport; sister-in-law, Sandi (Bob Moore) Wheaton; many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Jurs, Richard M. "Dick"
Spencerport: Thursday March 4, 2010 at the age of 75. He is survived by his wife Cathy A. (Dyer) Jurs; his son, Bryon F. Jurs; his siblings, Bernard (Vikki) Jurs, Betty (Ronald) Zerniak; nieces, nephews and cousins & including all of his fishing buddies. Barton, Robert H. "Bob"
Spencerport: Born on May 31, 1930. He passed away with his family by his side on Thursday March 4, 2010 at the age of 79 and is now safely home with his Lord and Saviour. He was predeceased by his parents George and Jessie Barton. Bob will be missed by his loving family and many friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Edith A. (Hoomans) Barton; his children, Dale (Sarah) Barton, Kimberlee (Thomas) Holding, Dawn (Bucky) Ades, Robert (Janice) Barton and Heidi (David) Brescia; his 17 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. Bob was a paid Fireman for 21 years for Ridge Road Fire District and retired as Battalion Chief (2C-45). He was also a Life Member of the Spencerport Fire Dept. and served as Fire Chief from 1965-1967. Bob was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.

DeVelder, Diana M. "Dedee"
Churchville: Tuesday March 2, 2010 at the age of 62. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Frances Edwards and her granddaughter, Chelsea DeVelder. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Gordon “Gordy” DeVelder; her children, Tom (Blanca), Scott, and Mark DeVelder, Lisa Roi, Amiee (Josh) Portlock and Steve DeVelder; 16 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; siblings, Brian, Steven and Patricia Edwards; mother-in-law, Grace DeVelder; cousin, George (Pat) Mitchell and their families. Dedee will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and a caretaker to all.

Cobb, Thomas C. Jr.
Churchville: February 15, 2010. He was predeceased by his wife Eleanor and sister-in-law Roseanna Bartell. Survived by his cousin, Peter Frachel; sister-in-law, Lorraine (Edward) Lake; many cousins, nieces and nephews. Thomas was a veteran of WWII, Army Air Corps., a member of the D.A.V. American Ex-prisoners of War (Rumania), American Legion and the 15th Air Force Association. He was awarded the Purple Heart, Air Medal, Soldiers Medal and several other decarations and awards.

She is survived by her children, Hans (Jacalyn) Bengsch of Brockport, NY, Gisela (Bruce) Campbell of Salinas, CA and Gerhard Bengsch of Atlanta, GA; her grandchildren, John Demler, Kristin (Jerry) Griffin, Scott (Jean) Bengsch, Kelly (Christopher) Wiest, Rob (Michelle) Campbell and Mark (Christina) Campbell; 7 great grandchildren; her sister, Elfrieda Adam of Brockport, NY; several nieces and nephews. Gangross, Gloria P.
Spencerport: Gloria (Paulus) Gangross at the age of 88 was called to Heaven Tuesday, February 16, 2010. She was born in Rochester on December 8, 1921, the daughter of William and Mable (Bond) Paulus. She attended Brighton High School, later graduated from Rochester Business Institute, and then held a career in banking. She married Edward Gangross, Jr. June 19, 1943 and was a dedicated wife for over 66 years and a wonderful mother of five children. Gloria was a faithful member of The First Congregational Church “The White Church” and the Ogden Senior Center in Spencerport, NY and was active there until recently. Gloria was a true friend and was loved for her wonderful smile, her positive attitude, and her sweet demeanor. She will be sadly missed forever by all that were privileged to know and love her.
Predeceased by a son Gary Gangross. She is survived by her sons Edward III (Ellen), Kyle (Nancy), Todd (Joy) Gangross; daughter Barbara Hendrick; Also survived by her husband Edward Gangross, Jr.; brother, William Paulus; sister, Dorothy Burrows; grandchildren, Sarah (Patrick) Valkner, Aaron Gangross, Joel (Lori) Gangross, Emily (Matthew) Clarke, Leah Hendrick, Timothy (Jennifer Barnhart) Gangross, Thomas Gangross; great grandchildren Victoria, Kennedy, Hannah, Laynie, Olivia, Madeline and Jacob; many nieces and nephews; lifelong friends Betty McFee, Esther Harris, Ruth Popowich; A special thanks to all the caring staff at Westwood Commons and The Shore Winds. Royer, Robert J.
Chili / FL: Wednesday February 10, 2010 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by his wife, Leona in 1979. He is survived by his children, Herbert (Ruth) Royer of Webster, NY and Nancy (William) Lissow of Mt. Morris, NY; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Robert was a United States Army Veteran of WW II and was awarded the Purple Heart on July 24th 1945. Robert also was a retiree of Delco Products Co.

Elkins, Katherine M. "Kaye"
Churchville: Friday February 5, 2010 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Rose O’Brien and her brother, Donald J. O’Brien. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Glenn C. Elkins; her sons, Dan and Scott Elkins; grandson Matthew Elkins; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Kaye graduated in 1949 from St. Mary’s Hospital School of Nursing. She will always be remembered as a very caring and compassionate nurse, while working at St. Mary’s and Unity Hospital before retiring in 2003. Kaye was active in the Nursing Alumnae, serving in many positions including President. As a member of St. Vincent DePaul Church she co-chaired the Human Development Committee along with her good friend Shirley Scharvogel.

Wynn; grandchildren, Christina W. Campbell, Charles F. Wynn, Connor F. Wynn, and great-granddaughter, Kayla E. Campbell; several nieces and nephews. Helen was a proud retiree of General Motors Delco Products Division.

Spencerport: January 14, 2010 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by his wife Martha. He is survived by his sons, Michael, Brian (Debbie) and Tim (Molly) Voorheis; grandchildren, Sarah (John), Jessica (Mario), Amanda (Derek), Matthew, Jeffrey, Tim Riley, Katie, Mattie, Tom, Ellen and Patrick; great-grandchildren, Charlie, Mary Jane, Morgan and Andrew; his brother, Ralph Donald Voorheis; many cousins, nieces and nephews. Bernie was a proud member of the 1945 - 1946 Rochester Royals Championship Basketball Team. He retired from Eastman Kodak as the Director of Employee Recreational Activities.

McKinney, Anna Elizabeth
Ogden: July 5, 2004 – January 2, 2010. After a long, courageous fight against leukemia, Anna McKinney, age 5, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Anna was loved and will be missed by her parents, Jeff and Jessie McKinney; 2 year old sister, Molly; maternal grandparents, Cathy and John Ventura; paternal grandparents, Christy and Jim McKinney; aunts, Maggie and Cindy; uncle, Jeff; cousins, Ryan and Joshie; many friends and extended family.
